Day 4 Mission Bolivia
"Jancukala"
Today at 11:00 we all packed into a colorful bus and despite road blocks by local protestors headed for 11,000 ft. I will not write much about the twisted narrow and washed out road to the village just know that there was one and we had to look to the Lord to keep from clawing out of the bus to walk the road instead.

We arrived at Jancukala and were in awe. Before us was a lush valley surrounded by mountian peaks on three sides. The people were waiting in a smallcourt yard below a dozen shacks that were strewn here and there up the slope. The people gracious and seemed to be quite entertained our team.

The children were delightful, the women were guarded but amicable and the men were men. We began setting up to cook and Dr. Doug and the nurses wasted no time seeing to the people's medical needs.

It was wonderful and as the sun began to set and the temperature rapidly dropped we loaded back on the bus and returned to the mission house.
God bless
